We do this by sitting down with each of our patients individually to conduct a thorough history of their condition, injury, or impairment. A comprehensive thorough evaluation consisting of orthopedic, mechanical, and neurologic tests and measures allows us to pinpoint the cause(s) of your dysfunction and/or symptoms.
From correlating the history with our evaluation findings we are then able to design a catered treatment plan to correct the problem(s) and get you back to living your life pain and injury free.
Unlike drugs or repeated spinal adjustments, our courses of treatment are designed to permanently correct the cause(s) of your decreased function and/or symptoms.
Treatment plans may include preparatory modalities such as moist heat, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, micro-current, mechanical traction, and/or licensed massage therapy to help relieve pain, spasm, and stiffness and to prepare the area for further treatment.
Skilled manual techniques adminstered by the therapist promote healthy range of motion, further relieve pain, and correct misalignments and improper joint mobility. Therapeutic exercises and self treatment skills prescribed and taught by the therapist empower patients to accelerate their recovery and to prevent future episodes.
